Our teachers and staff bring over 20+ years of combined experience to our school, and the love and dedication we pour into each child is something truly special. We are committed to creating a nurturing, engaging environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Beginning Summer 2026, we are excited to introduce our new Infant Program, serving children ages 6 weeks to 18 months in the White House. Leading this program will be Mrs. Cherry Moss, who has spent the past year as the lead teacher in the Blue House. She brings not only classroom experience but also the wisdom and care of being a grandmother. Joining her will be Miss Jasmine Morman, Maddie Snyder, and a part-time floater. This team is CPR certified and brings both Montessori classroom experience and a genuine love for caring for young children.
In the Blue House, Ms. Alisa Lamb will step into the lead teacher role in Summer 2026 after serving as co-lead. She is joined by Miss Erika Sullivan—lovingly known as Miss Sully—who has been with our Montessori family for five years and brings a true passion for working with children. Miss Sanaia Nelson, who has been with us for two years, will also be part of this wonderful team.
Our Red House will be led by Miss Abby Craft, who has been part of our Montessori program for four years. While she has spent much of her time with our 2’s and 3’s, she will now be leading our Pre-K program. Joining her is our Practical Life teacher, Mrs. Catravia El Assali, who brings creativity and enthusiasm into the classroom, along with Mrs. Karen Marroquin, who has been with us for over three years and is an invaluable part of this team.
Our floaters are an incredible group of dedicated individuals who bring flexibility, experience, and nurturing care to all classrooms. Many are students at ASU and support our program while continuing their education. All of our teachers and staff are CPR certified and Montessori trained.
We are proud to be one of the few schools that continues to provide nutritious lunches and snacks for our children ages 18 months through Pre-K. Our meals are thoughtfully prepared by our wonderful school chef, Sylvia Ousley, who takes great care in serving healthy, balanced options for our students each day.
In addition to our core curriculum, students have the opportunity to participate in Kindermusik, and our Pre-K students enjoy weekly Spanish instruction, helping to enrich their learning experience.
Our school is led by an exceptional leadership team. Rhonda Turner, our director, brings over 30 years of experience and dedication to Montessori education—every one of those years spent right here at our school. She is AMS Montessori certified and holds a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Rhonda taught kindergarten at Montessori for 15 years before stepping into her role as director, where she continues to lead with knowledge, consistency, and heart.
Fara Moore and her husband, Jeremy, are the proud owners of Montessori. Fara works full-time in the school and brings 23 years of classroom experience. She holds degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education, along with a Master’s in Reading. More than their credentials, both Rhonda and Fara bring an incredible amount of love, passion, and joy to our Montessori community.
Above all, we are a true Montessori environment, thoughtfully designed to focus on all five areas of development: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural studies. Our goal is to foster independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning in every child who walks through our doors.
